Uhing Rolling Ring Drive

Uhing rolling ring drives convert the rotation of a plain, smooth shaft into backlash-free linear motion — no threads, no gears. Traverse direction reverses mechanically without reversing the motor, making them the trusted standard in wire, cable and fibre winding worldwide.

Pitch is steplessly adjustable during operation, and the drive slips safely under overload instead of jamming.
